What should you do if the temperature in the granulator starts to rise?

If the temperature begins to increase, it will be necessary to perform at least one of the following tasks to maintain the temperature at the desired level.
    • Decrease the amount of steam being used.
    • Increase/decrease the recycle-to-product ratio.
    • Displace some chemical reaction from the granulator to other upstream vessels.
    • Replace some of the dissolved or molten salts fed to the granulator with solid material.
